Clay Chalkville High vs Pinson Valley High

Last night we decided to take Amos to his first football game.  We went to see two local high schools play. Clay Chalkville is the rival of Wes and Shannon's Alma mater Hewitt Trussville High, but they were playing away.

 Amos did not know what to think!!  The entire first half he would just look around with a blank look on his face.  We took him by the students section to see the mascot ( they are the cougars)  and well their  students are hard core.  They have boys who are shirtless and paint their bodies.  They have horns they blow and a platform that is lifted with one of the guys on it who does push ups when they score!  This is all in the stands!  Great energy, but Amos was not so sure!!!!

Caroline has done a GREAT job with the store.  It looks wonderful!

Aunt Laurie and Aunt Porfi were both working.  Maw Maw was there...working as security and people watching!  Christopher was there to see the little man, and Bebbie was there too.  It was so much fun!

Sweet Cousins

Here are a few pictures I snapped of Amos and Declan.  I have many more pictures to post from last weekend.  I am a little behind due to the little man being sick. 

He went Tuesday for his 18 month check up.  He is right on target with everything.  He is in the 90th percentile for height and 75th for weight.  He has a slight ear infection and cold, so we are working to get him better!

Road Trip

Tomorrow at this time we will be on the road to Biloxi!!!  We are so excited!  We will be staying with Caroline and Steve this trip.  I am very excited that Amos and Declan will actually have time to play.  Nadia will also be in town so we will get to spend time with her too! 
The trips are always bitter sweet because we have such a short amount of time to squeeze in so much.  
I know Caroline and I want to take the babies strolling downtown Saturday morning and I want to see the store.  Bebbie will probably come with us and we will see Aunt Laurie, Aunt Porfi and maybe Maw Maw if she is there.  We always make a few stops by Maw Maws while we are in town,  and we also make a few stops by Paw Paw Wayne's.  We will be between Bebbie's and Caroline's the rest of the time.  I hope to see everyone!  We can't wait.  The little man is big and WILD!!!!

*Update on  Amos: He is now into Thomas the Train, Mickey Mouse is out and Fresh Beat Band  
  has moved into 2nd place.
*I forgot to mention in the previous post: he LOVES to play golf, and with his soccer ball, football,    
  well any ball.  And the child would live outside if I let him.

The Three Amigos

Today was a fun filled day. We played outside in the water for a while, I washed my car(something I have needed to do) and later in the evening Amos and I met Lisa, Si and Anna at the park.  We had so much fun kicking the soccer ball, throwing the football, watching Anna ride her plasma car and Si ride his balancing bike.   I think the tire swing was The Hit of The Day!!!!! 

  He loves playing with his friends and they are great with him.  They are always making sure he is ok and showing him how to do new things.
