Amos meets The Clay Boys!

Today we took a little trip to a Bluegrass Festival in Leeds, where PawPaw's band was playing.  This was the first time Amos has ever seen The Clay Boys.  He loved being outside and listening to the music.  And after they were done, The Clay Boys and a few friends gave Amos a personal concert...he absolutely loved it!

The Great Pumpkin Patch

Today we met some family and friends at The Great Pumpkin Patch in Hayden.  We had so much fun and here are the picutres from our day!

What a great day!!!

Surprise!!!

March 15th I had an appointment to get an ultrasound.  Wes had and extremely busy day scheduled, so asked If I could move it to another day that week. (he didn't want to miss the ultrasound)  So, I did.
 You can imagine my surprise when at 7:45 that morning (March 15) I woke up and ...my water broke.  Looks like Baby Booth was ready and did not care about Daddy's busy day!!
After a few phone calls and a stop at the docotors office, we were  walked over to labor and delivery to get ready for our little bundle of joy.  With grandparents in route,  and preparations being made it would be a few hours and he would be here.
 And at 12:38 pm on March 15,2011 we welcomed Amos Alexander Booth to the world.  And at that very second, our lives would be changed forever!!!

And today our little man is 7 months old!!!!

Day Before Baby

OK, so it's my first post and its October 12,2011.  I am going to go back to the day before my sweet baby was born and get you caught up on the first 7 months!
On March 14th I had plans to go  to the zoo with Lisa, Silas, Anna and Lisa's Dad. Why not get out and walk, and spend the day with two of my favorite kids ever! The entire day we were joking that we were going to help Baby Booth along by walking  around the zoo and riding the train and carousel.

So after the zoo, I went back to Lisa's and got the bassinet she was letting me use for the baby.  As soon as I got home,  I set it up.  It was becoming so real, WOW...in four weeks a little baby boy will be sleeping in here. (or so I thought)
