Amos and the lemons

Today we went to Cracker Barrel with Grammy, Giggy and Aunt Lis.  We  decided we would see what Amos thought of lemons!

Last night, Melissa took a part of her first fashion show.  She along with her event partner Courtney styled one of the models for the show.  They did everything from create her outfit, to her hair and makeup. Their model represented Jamaica and she looked great. They did an awesome job.  I am so PROUD of her!!!!

Oh Amos

Today Amos went for his 1 year check and he is doing great. He still has an ear infection in his right ear, but other than that, he's good!  He is in the 80th percentile for weight and hieght.

 So that is a recap of the past few weeks, and here are some new pictures.

Happy Easter

We spent our Easter with the Cole side of the family (Verna's family).  It was so much fun!  We had a great meal and got to visit with all the aunts, uncles and cousins we don't get to see that often.  There a lots of little ones which makes it especially fun.

The Easter Bunny visited Amos and he brought powdered donuts as 

one of his treats.  It was his first time to try them and he is a fan!

Oakland A's Jersey

For Amos' 1st Birthday, the Vollmuths gave the Birthday Boy a "custom" Oakland A's jersey.  

For those of you who do not know, my Aunt Re Re  and Uncle Jay's youngest son Bryan "BA Vollmuth"was selected by the A's in the third round, 105th overall pick, in the MLB draft last year. (We are so proud of him)  Although Bryan was unable to be at the party, Aunt Re Re , Uncle Jay, Christopher and Nicole were all there to celebrate! Thank you so much... Amos loves his jersey.

Oh, and after these pictures, we went and met Wes for dinner.  As we were leaving, this older man came in and Wes was holding Amos.  He stopped and talked to them for a second and well,  I thought he said is it a boy?   And I saw Wes say yes and smile.  So as we walked out, I asked Wes if that is what he said... and YES it was!

Are you kidding me, does this child(in this outfit) look like a girl?  

All I can say is, he better be glad Wes was holding Amos and not me!
