Pumpkin Patch 2012

Amos found a friend in the bounce house.

 

 Then his BFFs Anna and Si showed up.

 

Oh how I miss his LONG hair! It is precious and still curly, but I have decided I will not trim it again for a very long time.... I will take pictures tonight and post soon.

 

 

Our DAREDEVIL decided he wanted to go down the big kid BIG Inflatable slide.

SOOO we said OK.  He went down not once but twice... Being walked up and nudge down by the guy working the slide and then by Lisa.  It was too high for this Momma and I made sure Wes was behind the camera! (we also have it on video...coming soon) 

Sorry Amos, you are on your own! Ha!!

It's time for a Hair Cut

So, I have waited as long as I think I can.  After Amos being called a GIRL ALL weekend....I am getting his hair TRIMMED!  I had a breakdown on the way home from the pumpkin patch(pictures soon) last night, and Wes tried to explain why it really needed to be done.  It will not be the typical little boy haircut, I will still keep his curls.  I am just having really hard time letting go of this last part of my "BABY"!  His precious hair that has not been cut in 19months...
 Well before I have another breakdown here at work, I will end this post and leave you with a picture I found.  I will use this as an example when we get his hair cut.

Spiderman Slippers

I bought Amos some Spiderman slippers the other day.  The only way he knows about Spiderman is from Silas.  Si is really into Superheros.  That was the theme of his birthday party and the party gifts where little superhero books.  Amos really liked the book so when I  ran across theses shoes I got them.   When I gave him these slippers, he was SOOO excited.  We immediately put them on and he ran though the house as fast as he could.  I got the wrong size so I have to get him some more!

Feeling Froggy

 Lately Amos has taken an interest in frogs.  So I have had to put my fear aside and go searching for frogs with him.  We have been doing this the past few weekends.  I still do not like big ones, but I will catch the baby green ones.   Tonight before bed, he noticed there was a really big frog on the glass by the front door.  So we caught it and brought it in for Amos.   

We have lots of fun with is hair these days!!!!

Happy Birthday Silas

This past weekend we went to Si's birthday party at Mountain Brook Gymnastics.  This was such a fun party.  The kids had so much fun jumping in the foam pit, doing the obstacle course, balance beam, rope swing,  and trampoline.   Amos was the youngest child there, but he had just as much fun as the big kids.  The only thing he did not do was the balance beam.  While the big kids where doing that we stayed on the obstacle course.  What a GREAT PARTY!!!
